Ashwini Kumars speak only what is true. Therefore they have established themselves as truth seekers. They speak the truth and behave accordingly and have belief in truth. Therefore they are the Doctors of Devtas. We worship them so that we too start having belief in truth. Truth is Voluminous. It is said "VED SARVA SARVATHA"- All the parts of Ved account for its volume and for everyone else too following Vedas is honourable. So here the praises of Truth are sung and worshipped.
आ॒दा॒रो वां॑ मती॒नां नास॑त्या मतवचसा ।
पा॒तं सोम॑स्य धृष्णु॒या ॥
Meanings:
मतवचसा - Oh Praiseworthy Devs.
नासत्या - Both Ashwini Kumar's.
मतिनाम - Of intellect.
वाम् - You.
आदरः - Inspirational.
ध्रुषणाया - Friction ful.
सोमस्या - For that Som.
पातम - To drink.
Explanation: The one speaking the thoughtful and truthful words, Oh Ashwini Kumars! You are requested to drink this Somaras which will be cause of inspiration towards intelligence and increase your power to face conflicts.

आ॒दा॒रो वां॑ मती॒नां नास॑त्या मतवचसा ।
पा॒तं सोम॑स्य धृष्णु॒या ॥
भाषांतर:
मतवचसा - हे स्तुत्य देव!
नासत्या - दोघे अश्विनी कुमार
मतिनाम - बुद्धीची
वाम् - आपण
आदरः - प्रेरणादायी
ध्रुषणाया - घर्षणयुक्त
सोमस्या - त्या सोमासाठी
पातम - पिणे
भावार्थ : असत्यहीन आनी मननपूर्वक वचन बोलणारे अश्विनी कुमारानो! आपन आपल्या बुद्धिस प्रेरणा देणारे आणि संघर्ष शक्तिला बल देणारे सोमरसाचे प्राशन करावे.
गूढार्थ:अश्विनी कुमार कधी ही मिथ्या शब्द बोलत नाहीत.म्हणून त्यांचे शब्द सत्यात स्थापित होतात. ते सत्य बोलतात, सत्य आचरण करतात आणि सत्य ह्यात निष्ठा ठेवतात, ह्या कारणाने ते देवतांचे डॉक्टर पण आहेत.आम्ही पण त्यांची स्तुती करतो की आमची निष्ठा पण सत्य मध्ये असावे।सत्य आयतन आहे. सांगितलेले आहे वेद सर्वा सर्वथा म्हणजे वेदाचे समस्त अंग सत्याचे आयतन आहेत. वेदांमध्ये सर्वांची प्रतिष्ठा आहे. इथे सत्याची महिमा आहे की स्त्रावन करत स्तुती होत आहे.

भावार्थ : सत्यपूर्ण और सोच विचारकर वचन बोलनेवाले अश्विनी कुमारों!आप अपनी बुद्धि को प्रेरित करनेवाले और संघर्ष शक्ति बढ़ानेवाले सोमरस का पान करें।
गूढार्थ:अश्विनी कुमार कभी मिथ्या बात नही करते। इसी लिए उनकी बात सत्य में स्थापित है । वे सत्य बोलते हैं, सत्य आचरण करते हैं और सत्य में निष्ठा है।इसीलिए ये देवताओं के भी डॉक्टर हैं। तो उनकी स्तुति की जा रही है कि हमारी भी सत्य में निष्ठा हो। सत्य ही आयतन है; वेदा सर्वा सर्वथा वेद के समस्त अंग इसके ही आयतन हैं, वेद में ही सबकी प्रतिष्ठा है।यहां सत्य की महिमा का स्त्रवण करते हुए स्तुति की जा रही है।
